And so it begins

Day one of NaNoWriMo is done for me and I've managed to log 1,923 words for the day. It's a fair start, but to be honest I had planned on trying to reach 3,000 words the first day to give me a little edge. After I finished the first scene though, I already had close to 2,000 words and I was at a good stopping point. If I launched into the next scene I'd either have to write a little later than I wanted too, or I'd have to leave off mid scene. I don't really like to stop mid scene because I have trouble getting back into the right flow. Tomorrow will start with a reaction scene followed by some more dramatic action, so hopefully I'll log another 2,000 words or more.

I definitely have a better game plan this year, so I'm hoping the writing will burst forth out onto the page like a mighty river escaping its banks. Sorry, cheesy...real cheesy. :)

Good luck to all my fellow NaNoWriMos out there!
