Hard hitting adventure

If you're in the market for a great adventure, I highly recommend the Adventures of Quentin Case series books I and II, Hard Case and Hard Corps respectively.

I've written reviews on both of these books on Amazon, so I won't go into too much detail here. Both of these books are quick reads with a lot of action, but what I enjoyed the most about them was the highly imaginative story world. They both take place in hell where the main character, Quentin Case, finds himself after being murdered. He has to quickly learn the rules of this new world if he is to survive and make any kind of life for himself and his new friends. Of course, Quentin, like any good hero, doesn't sit back and take things as they come, he pushes the envelope and challenges authority.

Naturally, a series set in hell will have some violence and sexual references, but, in my opinion, they weren't gratuitous. They are only brought up to establish the cruelty of the world that Quentin finds himself in. Most of the time I was so caught up in the wonderful descriptions and the detailed workings of the environment that any mention of violence felt natural to the story.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one of these books. They're a fast and enjoyable read. The books are written so that you don't have to read book one to understand book two, but I think the overall experience is richer if you read them both.

I believe book three is coming out in December. I can't wait :)

Chapter thirteen and beyond

Chapter thirteen of The Sixth Seal is up at JukePop Serials. Hannah meets the Bishop and sets events into motion. Unfortunately, things don't go as she planned.

Remember, you can read for free when you register and you can vote on each chapter that you like. Voting helps keep the story up in the rankings, which helps to keep it more visible. Plus it pays a modest amount at the end of the month if I'm in the top thirty.

Obviously I don't write this story for the money. I write it because I love to write and people seem to enjoy the story. So please leave me lots of comments. I always like to hear where the story worked for you and even where it didn't work. Reader feedback is a great benefit of publishing to JukePop, so don't be shy about telling me what you think. I have pretty thick skin now when it comes to my writing (that wasn't always the case). Besides, if I don't like what you have to say, I can always ignore it :) Author's privilege :)

Chapter fourteen is going to be another action packed chapter with a very sad cliffhanger. We are nearing the midway point of the novel, so you'll start to learn quite a bit more about the book and Ana's abilities. This story will come to what I hope is a satisfying conclusion, but it will also set the stage for book two, tentatively titled, Alpha and Omega.

Thanks again for reading!
